Pros
- Up time is good
- communication with the community of users is good
- customer support when I used it has been fast and efficient (though I usually use it through email.)
- they provide my DNS, registration, and hosting
- They have a site of the month contest. Other benefits too
Cons
- They're in Los Angeles, so when the grid went down, they eventually went down - fixed it though.
- can't think of anything else bad.

Full service provider. My plan is a shared plan with full access to my portion of the server. They do offer windows and other OS platforms in their colo plans

I've been very please with Dreamhost. I can get to everything I need and I have room to grow if I need to. The price is good.
