My Review
Pros
* HTML editing support (pop-up windows and you can create your own, too)
* Edit files up to 2 Gigabytes (and there is a "split" program if you want it).
* You can manipulate text in column blocks (a huge time-saver)
* David, the owner, is always available to answer any questions (via email or even phone!)
Cons
* Sorry, can't think of any!
I have used Boxer since the mid-90s, and upgraded over the years as the owner modified it to work better with Web applications. A plus is the ability to call the owner in Arizona (never met him), to discuss questions about Boxer and even how to do something with Windows that perhaps he knows. Boxer is very user-friendly. You can create your own space within it - just the way you want it to look. I also replaced Notepad with Boxer to download and have content appear just the way I want it to as a text file. My favorite aspect is the ability to click two keys and suddenly a long article will have the margin on the right exactly where you want it to end for every line (with the ability to choose the width) - something that is not common as far as I've seen (he calls it column blocks). I have never found any other software that does this. Great Spellchecker. You can reconfigure your keyboard and use macro language. It has many more positive aspects. I'm a huge fan, obviously,! and I've been using it for 15 years! I use it to spellcheck any work I've done in Dreamweaver, and the code is highlighted the same way.
