It's an OK editor. Nothing more than the free HTML-Kit editor gives you for the text side of things. I actually prefer the HTML-Kit editor.
The CC editor does not allow you to switch back and forth between text and visual mode without destroying your code. For that, it fails miserably. If you want a great editor that allows you to switch back and forth between the WYSIWYG editor and the text editor, spend $30 more and buy MS Expression Web ($79 with MS Office Upgrade). It is packed with features and worth the price. You wont regret it.
Also, I realize that the CC HTML Editor has won many awards over the years but in reality it is not a true sample. CoffeeCup asks their hundreds or thousands of Advisors and Ambassadors to vote for their product in the Ambassador forum which is not open to the public. For their "loyalty", these Advisors and Ambassadors receive a 30% discount on all CoffeeCup Software purchases. Not exactly a fair sample.
How do I know, I use to be an Ambassador until I requested they remove me from the program. I saw the CoffeeCup forum and software for what it really is and didn't like what I saw.
