I have been using this editor for 4 years now. It provides me exactly with what I need. Although it has a WYSIWYG option, I use it strictly as a code editor. It allows me the freedom to add my own code... but takes the drudgery out of repetition and detail.
Inserting photos and links are a snap. Its replace function allows me to make universal changes throughout a 100+ page website with ease. Tables and forms... no problem.
I especially appreciate the CSS helper that enters when you begin a tag and shows you what options are available... with the correct spelling of it (important!)... so that completion of a thought can proceed without interruption. In that respect, it becomes a good learning tool especially when venturing into areas where you may be uncertain.
I am not knowledgeable of the WYSIWYG functionality as I don't use it. But for coding... I would not want to work without it!
This editor has taken me through my novice... trial by fire... days all the way to my current level of competency. It has been a faithful companion and has more than won my loyalty.
I especially like the fact that once you purchase it... you own it for life! This is no small feature! All updates, no matter how major, are available to you for no charge. And... when I get a new computer, I just download the editor on it with no questions and no hassle. It has been my best web design investment, hands down, and I would recommend it to anyone who would use it as I do. It is certainly worth a try.
