From Ken white

How did you become a Web designer?

I have got my start in webmastering (web-designer) from a friend who started his own business. It was the Virginia City Beef Jerky co. Here in the Washoe county area, in Nevada. And I was just beginning in HTML, and going to school online, with Stratford Career Institute, to get my internet specialist, I graduated, and he came to me through a coworker friend of mine, "Can you build me a website?" "Sure"! I replied. He gave me some time to develop a couple of sites, and he found one he liked, and I got it! This was about 12 years ago, I don't have that account anymore, Had a great time.

Are you self-taught or did you get a degree?
