How did you become a Web designer?
I am part of a pilot program started in the state of WA for people with disabilities.
Are you self-taught or did you get a degree?
I have Multiple Sclerosis and mobility is an issue. We have formed a company by the name of Blue Water Productions. We had 8 students who worked with a web designer by the name of Roger Kirby who mentored us and we now have a company of 5 individuals and are working locally in Yakima Washington out of our homes. I am still working on trying to arrange continuous training for the staff and letting the world know we are here and do a fantastic job with websites. Tips and Tricks
- I am currently looking at continuing our education with University of Advancing Technology and would have set the whole pilot program up with a basic web design education for all and then the mentoring process.
