Why I think this design works
As a personal site, the design is in very good taste. Simple ,but pretty. The writer, I call him Quark, has a lot of creative talent. Both in this design, and his artwork and photos shown on the site.
The layout is clear and easy to see the various links, index etc, so it is easy to browse the site. It appears to be well thought out and includes updates, which tell me the author is maintaining the site, this motivates me to return and see what new may have been added.
I don't know what more to say, one would need to look at it to see what I am talking about.
Tips and Tricks
- On this it is impossible to say because personally I do not have the experience to say anything about how to improve it.
- OK that's not completely correct. I could make changes, but to be honest I feel it is so well designed.
- I seriously do not think I could improve it with any changes. Nor anyone else for that matter.
- Allthough I suppose if someone is a "critic" and looked close enough they could find things to be nitty picky about.
