Why I think this design works
The pictures are beautiful and you can click to download even higher resolutions, the navigation to more details is easy and intuitive and the navigation to the previous day's picture is positioned at a regulated place from the bottom, so when I scroll to the bottom rapidly with keystrokes, I can predictably position the mouse over the button to go back even yet a further day's picture, etc.
