Why I think this design works
I love the look of this page. It depicts the arrival of the starship in orbit above the Earth for the first time, which is what this chapter of the novel is about.
The Earth image I found on Google. The starship I designed myself using, of all things, a greatly modified image from an MS Word template. The moon, sun, and star field background were all designed using the "Universe" program.
Tips and Tricks
