Why I think this design works
I designed this site to be fluid without borders. Visually, I wanted a minimalist look that stepped away from the box model. The flowing design draws the visitor's eyes down each page using subtle imagery.
I used a database to showcase the portfolio section. This allows the design to stay clean no matter how many sites are added to the dynamic portfolio. I wanted to minimize the page's height and creating the database worked perfectly.
Overall I'm happy with the clean and creative look of the site. I feel it showcases my design skills in a variety of ways.
