Reader Submissions: How Much Do You Charge for Web Design Work?

The most common thing new freelance designers want to know is “how much should I charge?” While the answer to that question depends on many factors, most of which are personal to you and your clients, it can help to get a good idea of how much other designers are charging.

How much would you charge a customer asking for a site with the following characteristics?

A brochure website with 5-10 pages
All images and content provided by customer
Needs to be done within 3 weeks
Customer will handle maintenance
There are several videos that need to be included on the site
