Sandvox Pro FTW

As a small business owner with little web design experience, I needed something that would enable me to design and publish a professional, welcoming website. Did it in a day with Sandvox Pro -- it had all the features I needed and many I have time to experiment with as my needs and ideas grow. The company maintains forums, email list, and sends out initial helpful tips and questions about how one plans to use the software -- following up with suggestions. Impressive company and a software package well worth the money. http://www.karelia.com/sandvox/

Nominate the Best Mac Web Page Editor

Sandvox by Karelia has been our choice of Mac-based web editors for 2 years. The Pro version allows for almost everything an editor can ask for, incloding Google integration, code interjection, and even built-in email and RSS clients. http://www.karelia.com/sandvox/

Sandvox Pro's the best

I've used all kinds of editing software on Windows, Mac and online platforms, but this one is the simplest and most artistic at the same. Having chosen the stock design and tweaked it to your liking, all you have to do is keep adding to your website, then upload. And it keeps getting improved too, with responsive staff and helpful forum. http://www.karelia.com/sandvox/

Sandvox Pro (http://docs.karelia.com/z/Sandvox_Pro.html) is very close to the Holy Grail of Web design software, so to speak: Elegance and easy of use combined by with powerful and versatile features plus excellent customer support plus very modest pricing plus constant updates plus... so much more. Highly recommended piece of software.

Coda

Coda from Panic Software, does all the major lifting I need. Great editor, built-in FTP, that supports SFTP, SSL, and WebDev. But my favorite is the editor, which I use for code development as well, and the support for Subversion, to let me work with other and keep revision histories. http://www.panic.com/coda/
