From the article: Adobe Creative Suite
There are four versions of the Adobe Creative Suite that are suitable for Web designers, but it can be hard to decide which is best for you. Which one did you choose to buy and why? Share Your Reason
cs4 web premium
- Just bought CS4 Web Premium for my home laptop to work at home - we have CS4 at work. Would've loved Master but too pricey and don't really need InDesign on my laptop. Next may need to get Premiere.

Content with CS2
- My company bought Adobe CS2 when it first came out. There are a lot of cool new things I'd like to do to our corporate website, but management seems to be happy with the site as it is. As long as our site is leaps and bounds ahead of anything our competitors have out there, it's not likely we'll be making signficant upgrades. Good thing CS2 is such an awesome program, 'cause it looks like I'll be using it for a looooong time!

CS4
- My boss put CS4 on my computer, even though I didn't ask for it. I do wish he'd give me a choice before changing my software. Sorry to kvetch when other people would love to have an upgrade, but I didn't see the need.

CS2 Still works for me
- Now that Macromedia software is part of Adobe, the upgrade is far too expensive. I use to upgrade all packages every other version. I plan to purchase CS4 for Photoshop and Illustrator. Since I now mostly hand code, I won't bother with Dreamweaver.

Reasons for Using Adobe CS edition
- Till now I have used the design premiun edition. This year I switched to the CS4 eLearning suite and have a separate CS4 Fireworks. The Masters Suite has features I don't need at a steep price.

design premium
- I couldn't afford Master Suite :( and design premium was a chunk of change, but it's been worth it. Of course, now I'm starting to edit video more, so not having premier is a bit dodgy.
