Readers Respond: What do you hate about Project Managers?

Project managers are the team members that keep the project moving forward. When there is a conflict between team members they are the ones that help resolve it so that the website gets built in a timely fashion or the Web application is updated regularly. But many Web designers and Web think that Project Managers hate them - at least they seem like they are being as annoying as possible.

miscommunication

PMs remind me of the Chinese whisper game. What the client said to the PM often doesn't get relayed to the web developer, and what the web developer said to the PM often doesn't get relayed to the client. The end result is one frustrated client, one frustrated PM, and one frustrated web developer. It's often more efficient just to have the web developer talk directly to the client and leave the PM out.
