Minimalism is good, but be consistent

My personal preference is minimal design, so I like this site. However, the tag links in the footer serve no apparent purpose as they link off-site to wikipedia. Secondly, clicking the blog link leads to a completely different layout/design that is jarringly different than the site's overall design--leading the viewer to wonder if he's left the site. Finally, having a javascript-powered contact form is a bit of a no-no. With javascript turned off the form page loads but has zero design aesthetic. I would recommend at least having a fall-back contact page that resembles the rest of the site. All-in-all though, a solid design with some needed tweaks.

This page stands out

I like this site. It stands out because it only uses 2 colors. The font-family that is used is attractive. Only the font-size of the tags in the bottom is way too small.

blue site

i agree with the people that said this site was boring, it has nothing about it. i also found the bottom links very difficult to read.

Boring!

I didn't like this site. The blue background was distracting. It was just a very boring page. Simple does not have to be boring.

So many wikipedia links

Not too keen an on the overall design. If I was to rework this I would definitely try to cut down on all the links at the bottom of the page. My eye was drawn instantly to the long line of text at the bottom of the screen. If they are relevant to the business why not try to place them in the text since it doesn't change (and like Jennifer said, use white to help them stand out.) I do like how every time you visit the page the tools text in the last sentence cycles. Could be another way of setting up those links. Why not have a couple at the bottom and cycle them like you do with that text? I'm also biased towards sans serif fonts. I find them a little less busy.

Why do all sites have to be blue???

I know i know, it's corporate and "professional" and all that cosh, but heck! Blue gets so boring aftwer a while when everysite out there is the same damn color.
—Guest I hate blue
