I believe that while it's important to create designs that look good in at least the most popular browsers, it's not important to create designs that look identical in those same browsers. What do you think? How important is pixel-perfect design?Share Your Thoughts
- Taking a freelance gig at an agency now with 100% print designers. One of the biggest mistakes ever. One actually had he nerve to say "web design is the same as web design." WHAT???? After this comment, I turned into a robot, churning out plain layouts that looked good to their specs. Horrible on the web, too much spacing, no regard for the VIEWER. It's a nightmare. I would advise all web designers, experienced especially, to AVOID working exclusively with print design companies unless they RESPECT and UNDERSTAND basic web design. Ps: they even showed me a layout where the navigation bar was at the bottom. Avoid print agencies. And if you are a print designer readin' this here, Please study WEB DESIGN before trying to critique any part of a design project meant for web.
