Poll: Are DHTML, Ajax, and DOM Scripting different animals?

You won't find a specification on DHTML, and the term dynamic HTML can mean something different on every site that you come to.

What does DHTML mean to you? Is there a difference between the Web 2.0 functionality we see on Web applications today and the DHTML animations of several years ago? Is one the offshoot of the other or are they completely different? What do you think?

That’s my take on it. No matter how you look at it though, they are great growing technologies that are as useful as they are fun to use.
