Follow me on:

About.com Reader's Choice Awards 2010 Winners And the results are in. Some of the races were very close, while others had a clear winner almost from the start. It was all very exciting. You can view the winners in each of the different categories off of these pages:

Congratulations to all the winners!

?? What is going on? I got wrapped around the “lost in navigation” axle looking for the winners. The results are fragmented and scattered around different pages, some of the links to proceed to the next blinking step are obscure – if this is what I am supposed to be doing to my customer’s site visitors – I am not sure I actually *want* to know who was favored – here.

To summarize: I got lost on three different pages, looking for the information that this page taunted me about providing.

What Brad said… Where are the winners? I’m tired of looking for them. I’ll check back when this site gets straightened out. Poorly designed layout when you can’t find what your looking for.

Sorry Jennifer but I’ve got to agree with Brad & Steven.
‘Clunky’ confusing navigation is not usually your style.
What’s happened?

Well I’d have to agree also…I had a hard time finding where the actual winners were. I did find the links but the problem is it’s not very visible #1 and then #2 you have to keep clicking to actually find the winner. The best thing would be to have everything right on the first page. Or a link that says “See the Winners” (visibly of course). Then on that page you can see a thumbnail of each winner’s web site and also the title which they won under. That way you get a glimpse but if you really want to see certain ones you can click on those to get the big picture and any more details. Also with those sponsored links right in the middle of everything it makes it even harder to find the links you’re looking for.

I would also add that it would be nice if some voters’ comments were included for each website, editor, etc. Particularly with the software votes, I would love to hear what made users prefer one over the others.
