Textastic in Landscape mode
Textastic is a fabulous HTML editor for the iPad. If you look at the screen shot above, you'll see the special keyboard bar for special characters—this is the best way of handling these characters I've ever seen, and it gets the characters you need for HTML and CSS (like < > and { }) out of the third level keyboard and right where you can type them immediately. But that's not all there is to like about this editor. And one of my previous problems with the editor has been solved with the release of Textastic Code Editor for iPhone. So now, if you need to edit HTML on the go, you can do it on your iPhone or iPad almost as quickly as on your laptop.
