CSS3 Style Properties

There are many style properties that have been added to the CSS3 modules. This is a list of properties and how they are used.

border-bottom-left-radius
Add a rounded lower left border.

border-bottom-right-radius
Add a rounded lower right border.

border-break
What the browser should do to borders when encountering a page break. This property has been replaced by the box-decoration-break property.

border-image
Use an image for your borders.

border-radius
Make all four corners rounded (or not).

border-top-right-radius
Add a rounded upper left corner.

border-top-right-radius
Add a rounded upper right corner.

box-decoration-break
Tell the browser what to do when it encounters a page break in the middle of a box.

box-shadow
Add a shadow to a box element.

box-sizing
Change the box model rules for a specific element.

font-effect

 Define effects like emboss or outline on your fonts.

font-emphasize

 Define the style and position of the emphasis marker in East Asian languages.

font-emphasize-position

 Define the location of the emphasis icon in East Asian text.

font-emphasize-style

Define the style of emphasis for East Asian fonts. 

font-size-adjust
Make your fonts more legible even when using your non-first-choice font.

 

font-smooth

 Add anti-aliasing to your fonts.

font-stretch

Stretch your fonts to be wider or narrower.

hyphens
Add hyphenation to your documents.

nth-child
A selector to select specific (by number) children of an element.

nth-last-child
A selector to select specific (by number counting from the bottom) children of an element.

nth-last-of-type
A selector that matches on both the count (counting up from the bottom) and the type of the child elements.

nth-of-type
A selector that matchs on both the count and type of child selector.

overflow-x
What should happen to horizontal overflow. 

overflow-y
What should happen to vertical overflow

size
Defines the exact size of paged media.

transform
Change the position, size, or rotation of the element.

transform-origin
Change the position of the element.

transition
Define the property, delay, duration, and timing function of a transition.

transition-delay
Define how long before starting the transition.

transition-duration
Define how long it should take to do the transition.

transition-property
Define what property the transition should affect.

transition-timing-function
Define what timing function should be used on the transition.
