I have no idea what happened here with Joseph, but I can imagie it. New Web designers often have trouble that more experienced designers don't have. When you've been using the tools for a long time, you start to know their quirks and tricks. For example, if he were using Dreamweaver, it has an auto-update of links when you save a file in a different location. If you know what's going to happen this can be a huge time saver. But if it does something you're not expecting, you can spend extra time where you didn't expect - as Joseph discovered.
I am a beginer web designer. I had just gotten to the 1/2-way point in my first website. When I tried to save the website, EVERY SINGLE LINK switched places with another link! It took me almost 2 hours to replace them all!
