Use Opera's Small-Screen Rendering to Test Pages for Handhelds

A Quick Way to Get Some Sense of How Your Pages Will Look on a Cell Phone

The Opera Web browser comes with a feature that is of use to Web designers - the Opera Small Screen Renderer. You can use this tool to test any Web page and see how it will look in a tiny window like on a cell phone. To use it:

  1. Download the latest version of Opera.
  2. Go to the page you want to test.
  3. Hit Shift-F11.
    The screen will switch to a narrow version of the page.
  4. When you're done testing, hit Shift-F11 to toggle back to normal view.
